Welcome!  I'm Jeanelle, owner of Opal & Arya, it's great to have you here.

A couple of years ago, I began a journey of self-reflection and realized just how unkind I had been to myself. I was trapped in cycles of intrusive thoughts and negative self-talk that slowly chipped away at my self-worth and self-esteem. But I refused to let that define me.

I started challenging those thoughts—catching myself in those moments and replacing negativity with kindness. Positive affirmations and self-talk became my lifeline, reminding me that I am worthy of the same love and compassion I so freely give to others.

I've also been a longtime fan of candles, and they've always been an essential part of my self-care rituals. When I was in my darkest moments, I lit them every day. When I took soothing baths, I surrounded myself with their soft glow. Their warmth and calming scents became a source of comfort and peace.  

Thankfully, I’m in a much better place now, but I know I’m not alone in this sort of struggle. So many of us battle self-doubt and low self-esteem, forgetting our own worth. I created Opal & Arya to offer more than just beautifully scented candles. I want each product to serve as a reminder of the light within you, a spark of self-love on your journey.
